Mosedale - Lake District Walk

The rain arrived again today so we spent the morning in Keswick and abandoned our plans for a pub lunch when the weather started to improve. After yesterday's long walk there was no hope of us climbing any hills today, as our legs were feeling the effects of yesterday's climbs, so we opted for a walk along Mosedale, returning by Crummock Water. The clouds hung to the top of the bigger hills but as our walk progressed more and more summit tops came into view.

Distance: 6 miles Ascent: 297 metres Time Taken: 3 hrs 55 mins
Weather: Dry with low clouds lifting during the afternoon.
Pub Visited: Kirkstile Inn (Loweswater) Ale Drunk: Loweswater Brewery, Melbreak Bitter
Which way is it? We wanted the 'no through road'.

A slight 'diversion' meant we were rewarded with this view of Crummock Water & Buttermere.
